Meet Our Team

Dr. Amanda Ervin was born and raised in Murray, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelors of Science in 2004 and Masters of Science in 2005 from Murray State University. She graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Ervin practiced in Evansville, Indiana and Clarksville, Tennessee before coming to West Kentucky Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Ervin spends her time outside of work with her husband, two children and two dogs. They enjoy spending time outdoors including boating on the lake, exploring LBL, and traveling to new places.

Dr. Ervin is passionate about all aspect of veterinary medicine, but especially loves new puppy visits. She believes this is a very important time to start off your new family member with the proper care. Dr. Ervin enjoys being able to follow her patients through all stages of life and is determined to provide the best care for them along the way.

I'm dedicated to providing compassionate client service and helping our hospital run smoothly. Outside of work I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and 3 dogs, Cache, Kona, and Parker.

I love forming connections with our clients and pets, and I provide crucial support to our veterinarian with anything she needs. I really enjoy assisting with radiographs (x-rays) and take pride in getting clear images for the doctor. My unique hobby is gaming, which inspired the names of my two cherished cats: Lae'zel and Arthur Morgan.

I graduated from Murray State University's Veterinarian Technician program in 2018 and have been in the field ever since. I'm married and I have 3 cats.

I absolutely love what I do. From snuggles to surgeries, I enjoy helping nervous pets feel safe and supporting our team behind the scenes. I'm all about keeping tails wagging and whiskers happy!
